About

International experience, intercultural skills, and the ability to work in innovative environments are crucial for opening doors to the entire Técnico Lisboa’s Community. This year, another edition of the International Day is back, an event that will feature more than 15 international higher education institutions from various countries, a number that will broaden horizons and strengthen ties among students, staff, and professors in a global network.

The International Day has significant objectives, under the theme “international opportunities”:

  • Dissemination of opportunities for studying abroad: Mobility Programs, Double Degrees, Joint Masters and PhD programs, internships, etc.
  • The opportunity for teachers, researchers, and students to personally and directly engage with some of Técnico Lisboa’s strategic partners.
  • Promotion of Técnico Lisboa’s internationalization.
  • Recreating a unique international environment of sharing and cooperation between nationals and internationals, partners, professionals, teachers, technicians, administrators, and students, while simultaneously reflecting deeply on how we can individually contribute to leveraging internationalization at Técnico Lisboa.
  • Creating a facilitating environment between the Técnico Lisboa’s Community and representatives of foreign higher education institutions, creating a unique and appealing space with various activities, contests, and awards.
